What is Yingshi
Yingshi, also known as Yingdeshi, is named after the Yingde Mountain area in Yingde County, Guangdong Province. It has the same history as the limestone in the sedimentary rocks of Lingbi. Song Dufu's "Yunlin Stones": "The Yingzhou County contains light between Zhenyang County and the stone production stream." Its colors are slightly green, grayish black, green and white. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the world revived the heat of the British stone. The Ming Dynasty Jiucheng's "Yuanye" introduces the origin and color of Yingshi, which is the same as "Yunlin Stone". It emphasizes the role of Yingshi. "The big one can set the garden, the small one can set a few cases, or Point basin, you can also sneak a small view." The "Flower Mirror" written by Chen Wuzi of the Qing Dynasty records the stone used for the production of landscape bonsai, "Kunshan Baishi or Guangdong Yingshi", fully affirming that Yingshi is the material for making fake mountain bonsai.
